I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome Lisa Flato to our BodyWorks Staff. She is a wonderfully warm, friendly woman and humble too! I met Lisa late in 2007 and she introduced herself as a student and as a teacher from New York. I acknowledged that briefly but didn’t need any new teachers at the time. She’s been coming regularly to BodyWorks since she moved here, attends classes with many of our wonderful teachers and has become a part of this community. Now that she is a new teacher, she will bring another wonderful style to our list of options!
From Lisa: “My family and I have very recently relocated back to our home state of California from New York. Having lived in San Francisco for years, I knew when we were considering where to move that Northern California was the place for us, but not sure where. Petaluma simply called to me. The healing vibration here is undeniable. Since the first class I took at BodyWorks, I knew right away the depth that the community felt for the studio and everyone I have met has welcomed me with open arms and hearts. I’m very excited to be a part of BodyWorks and look forward to serving others in their practice as we all walk this path of yoga together. Om Shanti Om Peace.”
