Laurie Eisler, CMT
Laurie Eisler, M.A., CMT has been a bodywork therapist and teacher for over 25 years, blending Eastern & Western techniques. She specializes in Thai Massage, which opens the joints, relieves pain and revitalizes energy with flowing assisted stretches and deep, rhythmic pressure along meridian lines. To suit the needs of each individual, she also integrates a creative fusion of modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, cranialsacral, Shiatsu, PNF physical therapy techniques, and Indian head massage. Laurie's work not only deeply relaxes and rejuvenates but also aims to increase body awareness and improve flexibility, movement, and postural habits.
Laurie draws inspiration from many years of living in India, studying Ayurvedic and infant massage, martial arts, yoga therapy and classical dance. She was certified in Thai massage at the Traditional Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Currently, Laurie directs Rasa Healing Arts, which offers courses and workshops in the massage traditions of India & Thailand.
